Hennepin County Divorce – FENE – SENE

Early Neutral Evaluation (ENE) is a process that is increasingly being used and ordered by Courts to help resolve Family Law issues involving child custody and parenting time (referred to as SENE).  In addition the ENE process can assist parties with the resolution of financial matters (referred to as FENE) including the equitable division of assets and debts, spousal maintenance (alimony), retirement account issues, real estate valuation, non-marital claims and high asset issues.  Both processes are designed to help the parties come to agreements on the contested issues of a case.

Attorney Randall A. Smith conducts both SENE and FENE in Family Law cases.

During a Divorce, It is important to hire an experienced attorney who specializes in Divorce and Family Law cases, who has an advanced degree such as an MBA or CPA, and who can properly address complex legal issues during the case, including complex financial issues such as spousal maintenance, present value analysis of assets (including 401k, 403b, pensions, ESOP, and other retirement accounts), preparation of complex balance sheets, the discovery of hidden assets, analysis of Federal, Minnesota, Corporate and Partnership tax returns, high asset brokerage and financial portfolio asset review, and a firm understanding of equitable division as it applies to Minnesota divorce cases.
